Travis Timmons, PT, DPT
Travis earned his BS in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University in 1998. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2010 from Creighton University. Since graduating, he has focused his efforts in the orthopedic rehabilitation and wellness arena. He enjoys helping clients maximze their maximum health potential through the proper program that fits the individuals needs and goals. Working in a private clinic also allows him the flexibility to work with his Physical Therapy patients individually, rather than in a group setting. This allows him to focus on each individual patient's intricate needs.
Aaron J Graves, B.S., RTSAaron has been devoted to the fitness industry since 1998. His specialty has been centered around personal training and exercise equipment analysis. After receiving a Bachelors Degree from Bowling Green State University in the field of Kinesiology he has been focused on providing high quality instruction employing scientific based philosophies when determining exercise prescription. Aaron enjoys the opportunities to teach clients kinesthetic awareness. This allows clients to understand why and how an exercise is performed to keep them involved in their own lifestyle of health. Aaron has been working with Fitness Matters since 2000.

Andrew O'Neil, M.Ed., MATs, CSCS Andrew has been in the fitness industry since 1998. He has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from The University of Georgia. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Certified Specialist. Andrew has experience in general fitness training, sport-specific training, late stage rehabilitation and cardiac rehab. Andrew corrects muscle imbalances in the body using MAT which restores joint alignment, relieves pain and improves function thus allowing each client to exercise more effectively and safely.
Jessica Plymale, M.S., RTSJessica earned her Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Ohio University in 2000 and 2001, respectively. She gained experience in cardiac rehabilitation with several hospital systems throughout Ohio, but her love of educating on a one-on-one basis attracted her to the personal training industry. Jessica enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals, motivating her clients to achieve fitness goals while educating them on healthy lifestyle habits to lower their risk for disease. As a part of her role on the Fitness Matters team, she also gives presentations to large groups on various wellness and prevention topics. In 2007, Jessica completed the Resistance Training Specialist program.
Rita Fortin, B.S.Rita has been in the fitness industry for 26+ years and is a very enthusiastic role model for the health profession. Her objective is to provide superior customer service through education and motivation to design safe, effective, and creative exercise programs that will promote permanent, healthy lifestyle changes. She possesses excellent communication skills and enjoys inspiring people to achieve their optimum goals. Her forte is corporate fitness classes. She’s completed the Jump Start Workshop series for Muscle Activation Techniques and also the TRX Suspension Trainer Workshop. Rita’s certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Counsel on Exercise (ACE). She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Certificate of Graduation in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University, where she also was a Varsity Cheerleader. Today she’s passionate about cheering her clients to attain their fitness goals. Her hobbies include working out, biking, golf, gardening, cooking, traveling, and Swing/Latin dancing. She lives with her husband Tom in Westerville.
Mandy Hall, B.S. Mandy graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's in Health Promotion and Fitness from Otterbein College and is certified in personal training through the National Council on Strength and Fitness. She gained additional knowledge by playing four years of collegiate volleyball, but attributes most of her success as a personal trainer through her experience at Fitness Matters.
Sheila Harnett, RTS, MATs
Sheila has been involved in the Health and Fitness field for over 20 years. She has had the privilege to coach and lead individuals to wellness helping them reach their goals in pain free and quality motion.
She is certified with National Academy of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine. In June of 05, she became the first Certified Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist in Columbus Ohio. Sheila had the great opportunity to train and test out with Greg Roskopf, owner/developer of M.A.T. She has completed the rigorous course work for Resistance Training “Mastery” level under Tom Purvis in Oklahoma City: Understanding force, its effects, and how to properly apply it to an individual based on their specific joint structure and function. Her specialty is balancing the neuromuscular system. Restoring congruency in joints, creating the best biomechanical situation, translating to a pain free active lifestyle.
